Professional dunker, vertical-jump coach, and the only person his league credits with a 360 behind-the-back between-the-legs dunk.
Isaiah Rivera was born on 26 September 1997 in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, and now lives in Davenport, Florida. He first dunked at sixteen, in Sandy, Utah, after watching his uncle dunk while they played together.
He is 6 ft 2 in (1.88 m) and 183 lb, with a max vertical of 50.5 inches and a reported standing vertical of 40 inches. At The Dunk Camp he earned the black band, which demands a scorpion, a two-hand behind-the-back or one-hand 360 behind-the-back, an eastbay, an under-both-legs dunk and a 43-inch vertical — all in one session.
His contest record includes the 2019 Quai 54 title in Paris, won with a dunk over NBA forward Blake Griffin; gold at the FIBA 3x3 World Tour stops in Montreal and the Utsunomiya Final, with silver in Mexico City; Dunk Battle 2022; and the 2022 Venice Beach Dunk Contest. His official league bio calls him the only person in the world to complete a 360 behind-the-back between-the-legs dunk.
In July 2026 he entered DUNKMAN — the professional dunk league announced by Shaquille O'Neal, TNT Sports and Authentic Studios. He won his Group C qualifier pool with a 9.35 for a dunk over a standing woman off a mid-air pass, and qualified for the first DUNKMAN World Championship.
Away from contests he coaches. Wikipedia credits him and Evans with coaching four of the highest jumpers in the world; his own channel says he has helped three other athletes record a 50-inch vertical, including current world record holder Dillan McCarthy. He has also advised NBA Slam Dunk Contest winner Glenn Robinson III.
